About the event
Building on the momentum of our April Fair-Chance Hiring panel, LSHRM's October Chapter Meeting brings HR professionals, business leaders, and community partners together for an important conversation on supporting immigrant and refugee talent in our workforce. Attendees will explore practical strategies for attracting, hiring, and retaining skilled newcomers while learning about the valuable contributions they bring to organizations and our region. Participants will also be introduced to the Kentucky Chamber Foundation's New Kentuckian Hiring Academy, a next-step resource designed to help employers build welcoming, inclusive, and effective hiring practices that strengthen Kentucky's workforce and communities.
