Community Volunteering



1. Mock Interviews | Iroquois High School | May 8th (8-9:30 AM)

Iroquois High School is looking for volunteers to help conduct mock interviews with their Senior students.

Questions will be provided, we just need YOU! This is a great way to help the next generation of professionals gain the skills they need to enter the workforce. If interested in learning more, please email workforce-readiness@lshrm.org.

2. HR Presenters | Kentucky School for the Blind | flexible dates

MSWP is looking for 3-4 HR professionals to help young professionals get ready for their Summer Internship!

Volunteers will be tasked with leading two presentations on Resume Writing or Interviewing. Presentations last 40 minutes each and already have PPT presentations.

3. Classroom Presenters | Junior Achievement (flexible schedule-ongoing need)

JA is looking for HR professionals to help empower the next generation through classroom presentations on a variety of topics including entrepreneurship, civics, workforce readiness and more.

Teaching schedule is incredibly flexible and made to fit volunteer’s schedule. If interested in getting started/learning more, please email workforce-readiness@lshrm.org.

4. Virtual Resume Coaches | Flexible

LSHRM is looking for HR Professionals who are interested in helping provide resume feedback from the comfort of their own home. Email workforce-readiness@lshrm.org for more details.
