Workforce Development Volunteer - Can't get away from the office but would love to volunteer? Become a Virtual Resume' Coach! The Workforce Development Committee is in need of numerous team members that will be virtual resume coaches. The coaches will respond to inquiries from individuals that would like resume feedback. There will be a template provided to review the various components. Each resume will take about 20 to 30 minutes to review and you can do it from home or your office, during the day or at night.
E-learning Chairs - Our Programming team is seeking two e-learning chairs to assist with the design, implementation and ongoing maintenance of LSHRM’s new Learning Management Portal. The volunteers would assist the team in designing the web page, obtaining content from presenters and assisting them with recording the webinars, ensuring that the content gets approved for continuing education credits through SHRM if necessary and adding the presentation/resources to our new portal. Some web design experience would be great! Duties would be split amongst the two volunteers. (Estimated time per week would be 3-6 hours)
Director, College and Community Relations - LSHRM is currently looking for an energetic and driven volunteer to lead initiatives with local colleges, universities, and community. The director works closely with the workforce readiness committee. The key areas of focus are engaging student members, sharing information about LSHRM with the community, and partnering with educators as a resource and influence.
