Talis Group’s client, a Louisville based industry leader in the insurance industry, is looking for a dynamic HR Generalist to assist the HR Manager at this growing and expanding company. This position will promote excellent employee relations through the development and administration of programs, benefits and procedures/practices. Position will be involved in HR areas including employee on-boarding, new hire orientations, training, employee development, benefit administration, employee relations and engagement. Description & Details

      ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

      • Employee relations assistance includes HR compliance, retention, training and development
      • Conduct new hire onboarding and orientations
      • Maintain employee information within company’s HRIS
      • Plan and coordinate employee engagement activities and events
      • Ensure company HR policies and procedures as well as state and federal employment laws and regulations are maintained and reported correctly
      • Assist with recruiting and benefit administration when needed
      • Maintain a positive organizational culture in line with the company’s values and business priorities
      • Assist HR Manager with special assignments as needed


        QUALIFICATIONS:

        • Bachelor degree in HR or related area
        • 2+ years of true HR generalist experience
        • Excellent interpersonal/communication (verbal and nonverbal) skills
        • Knowledge of relevant state and federal regulations
        • Must be organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy
        • Must possess high level of professionalism, ethics and confidentiality
        • Advanced Microsoft Office skills and prior use of a HRIS
        • Motivated; self-directed individual
