Description & Details


      • Work with the business leadership, providing advice, guidance, and ad-hoc training to grow talent and work with the business unit to establish and introduce programs that identify employees with high potential, develop career paths in consideration of key roles for succession planning, and assist in self-development
      • Work in partnership with the business unit to provide performance management guidance, including disciplinary actions, coaching, and counseling on employee relations issues
      • Build leader’s responsibility and capability for managing employee issues and improve the effectiveness of consultation
      • Engage in the development and execution of the HR strategy, including analyzing trends and metrics to predict possible future talent needs
      • Partner with Leadership as a focal point of contact for employees regarding compensation, benefits, HR and company policies, talent recruiting, and employee conflict resolution
      • Monitor job requirements, responsibilities, and descriptions to align with industry data to create job family structures that accurately reflect the organization career development initiatives
      • Assist in onboarding new hires, orientation, and onboarding initiatives / offboarding employees
      • Compile industry research and data to support local compensation requirements
      • Lead Business unit recruiting, internal postings, and talent development
      • Ensure all business unit employee actions and transactions are accurately reflected in the Paylocity HRIS platform
      • Day to day HR operations in coordination with Houston
      • Support the HR team in implementing programs to help improve the employee experience

          • Undertake all responsibilities with a superior commitment to ethical practices, integrity, and confidentiality of sensitive information
          • Experience in recruiting, hiring, motivating, and retaining talent
          • Ability to multi-task multiple initiatives
          • Demonstrated leadership and communication skills
          • Must be a self-starter with the ability to sustain effort and meet deadlines
          • Self-motivated with the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision, set priorities, and interface with others
          • Strong written and oral communication skills
          • Ability to think creatively in solving business problems
          • Ability to make independent decisions / judgments about work priorities
