Description & Details

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Develop and execute multiple recruiting tactics to ensure facilities are fully staffed at all times
  • Facilitate the entire employee life cycle for all team members
  • Manage the Applicant Tracking System and other HR tools to efficiently leverage technology in the HR function
  • Actively manage the resolution of employee relations matters
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in conjunction with the leadership team
  • Work with leadership team to develop and implement employee incentive and benefit programs to boost morale and retention
  • Develop systems to track HR related metrics in conjunction with the leadership team
  • Work with leadership team to integrate company culture throughout all levels of the organization
  • Provide general administrative support to the office and leadership team, as needed
  • Along with the leadership team, do whatever it takes to get the job done


    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist or similar HR role
    • Experience recruiting and hiring hourly team members in a high-volume environment, preferably the distribution center, retail, restaurant or janitorial industry
    • Broad working knowledge of “best practice” HR policies and procedures, including KY/IN labor laws
    • Experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment is preferred
    • Experience building an awesome “people-centric” company culture is preferred
    • Strong people skills and high emotional intelligence
    • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
    • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
    • Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Office and Applicant Tracking Systems
    • HR certifications are a plus
    • Bilingual is a plus
