Greetings, LSHRM friends.

Just in case you weren’t able to attend our LSHRM Chapter meeting in July I’m sharing what I feel is exciting news for our chapter. On August 31, 2022 your chapter president (me) and president-elect Annetta Hunter will be moderating two sessions at the 38 Annual KYSHRM Conference.

The session is A Compassion Reset for 2022 and Beyond! LSHRM leaders and entrepreneurs Laura Wood, Out of the Woods HR; Annetta Hunter, WellNOW Consultants; along with speakers and panelist Brad Shuck, Professor and co-founder OrgVitals, R. Brayton Bowen, Building Better Worlds of Work and Scott Koloms, Canopy Ky, all of Louisville, will lead this informative and engaging session.

The whole world has been through unprecedented change on every front in the last two years. Our discussion will center around the positive aspects that have come out of the chaos! During this interactive session, we will have a panel to address issues such as compassion in the workplace, strategies for change, constructive outcomes that have occurred, and how employers can become certified as compassionate organizations to improve performance.

I hope you will consider attending one our two sessions at the 2022 KYSHRM Conference held at the Galt House in August. In the meantime you can also check out my interviews with some of our amazing speakers on our LSHRM LinkedIn page.
