Leading and Driving bold and innovative workplace ideas

Starting in 1940 as the The Louisville Personnel Association, LPA affiliated with national SHRM on November 8, 1965, (as chapter number 73) and changed to the Louisville Society for Human Resource Management (LSHRM) on July 1, 1992.

LSHRM is committed to excellence in the practice of human resource management and is Kentucky's largest professional human resources organization with more than 400 members. Louisville Society for Human Resource Management (LSHRM) is proud to be among the more than 575 professional SHRM chapters. Chapter members are encouraged to join the national organization of SHRM, but national membership is not a requirement for Chapter participation.

LSHRM has adapted through it's history to support the changing landscape and evolution of the HR field. For more than 80 years, LSHRM has been a resource to the workforce & professional leadership communities of the Louisville Metropolitan area.
