EVENT DESCRIPTION

This program will help hiring managers understand the current challenges in recruiting and retaining diverse candidates, while providing advice and benchmarked techniques to increase diverse candidates, grow staff retention and cultivate a more diverse and collaborative environment.

Workplace diversity has become increasingly critical to organization success. This rising importance has placed extra pressure on hiring diverse professionals.

Speaker Bio

Erin Mires Tim Findley

Erin Mires, Ph.D., and Tim Findley, Ed.D. Erin Mires, PhD, is the owner of ECM Consulting, LLC, a consulting firm specializing in organization and learning development. Erin has a doctorate in organizational development and leadership from the University of the Rockies and has developed numerous workshops and learning programs for international organizations. She is an adjunct faculty member of Organizational Leadership and Learning at the University of Louisville and of Business Communication at Spalding University. Erin is also an Air Force veteran, having served as a Personnel Officer before moving to Louisville, KY. Tim Findley is Division Vice President of Diversity and Inclusion for Kindred Healthcare. He has overall responsibility for the creation and implementation of the enterprise-wide diversity and inclusion strategy. He has a doctoral degree from Spalding University, an MBA from Webster University, and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Louisville. Dr. Findley is also certified as a diversity professional/advanced practitioner by Cornell University of Ithaca, New York. He is also a member of the adjunct faculty at several universities teaching diversity, culture, and leadership. Before coming to Kindred, Dr. Findley was the diversity leader at Norton Healthcare, and the supplier diversity leader at Louisville Gas and Electric Company. Dr. Findley started his career as a programmer and systems engineer at Capital Holding Corporation and Humana.
